By Registering for Tikipunga you Agree to the following Code of Conduct(s):

Junior / Youth Code of Conduct


Tikipunga Football Club. Junior and Youth Player Code of Conduct.

This code of conduct is to be discussed by parents/caregivers with each Junior and Youth Player.


Tikipunga Football Club Members will:

  • Respect the rights, dignity, and worth of others

  • Be fair, considerate, and honest in all dealings with others

  • Be professional in, and take responsibility, for their actions

  • Make a commitment to providing quality service and performance

  • Comply with all relevant standards, rules, regulations, and policies

  • Comply with any and all applicable laws

  • Not use obscene language

  • Play to win whilst playing fair

  • Never argue with or abuse a referee or their assistant.

  • Accept defeat with dignity

  • Cooperate with the coach, manager and team mates

  • Respect the opponent

  • Not engage in any conduct which is abusive, threatening or which constitutes harassment

  • Operate within the Statutes, Regulations, Policies, and Procedures of NZF and FIFA

  • Not discriminate against others

  • Not victimise others

  • Be positive role models

  • Never act in any way that may bring disrepute or disgrace to Tikipunga Football Club, New Zealand Football, or any of its Federations, clubs, personnel, sponsors, and/or partners.

Serious breaches of the code of conduct may mean a player is removed from the team and club.

Parent, Guardian & Supporters Code of Conduct


By Registering your children you agree to the following

Parents, caregivers and supporters must:

  • Agree to abide by the code of conduct

  • Help with team management as required

  • Ensure the player is on time for practices and games

  • Remember that children play football for their own enjoyment, not their

  • parents/caregivers

  • Encourage children to participate and not to force them into playing

  • Focus on the child’s performance not winning or losing

  • Encourage children to always obey the rules of football

  • NEVER ridicule or YELL at a child for making a mistake

  • Remember children learn by example

  • Support efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse during play

  • Respect referee or assistant referee’s decisions

  • Show appreciation to coaches, officials and administrators

Senior Code of Conduct


Tikipunga Football Club Members will:

Team Selection: The coaches’ and team management’s decision is final.

Any disputes must be resolved BEFORE game day.

After this time team selection will be taken as accepted by the whole team.

Media Policy

Throughout the season our club photographer will take photos at games of club members participating in football activities. These photos may be shared on our website and social media. 

By registering for Tikipunga FC you agree to have your photos used in our web and social activities. 

If you have issues or requests for removals please contact seniors@tikipungafc.co.nz with removal requests.
